Our Services

WELLNESS EXAMS

 

We offer exams for canines and felines, as well as exotic animals. We highly recommend annual exams for the ultimate and complete care of your animal.

VACCINATIONS

 

All annual and puppy/kitten vaccinations are recommended for felines and canines.

 

Rabies Vaccinations for Health Certificates are also offered.

DENTAL CARE

 

Dental care is very important to the health of your animal, annual cleanings prevent bad breath as well as oral diseses. Dental extraction procedures are performed when necessary.

EMERGENCY CARE
 
Being a small. outpatient facility, our resources are limited.

At this time, we can take emergency calls during business hours only
. After hours, we suggest that you contact your nearest veterinary clinic.
MICROCHIPPING

 

Our pets like to holoholo too!

 

AVID microchipping is recommended by our staff for the safety of your animal so that you and your furry family member can be reunited in no time in case they take a stroll without you.

SURGERY

 

We offer spays and neuters for felines as well as canines. Hawaii Humane Socicety coupons are accepted.

 

Mass removals and out patient procedures are also performed.

GROOMING

 

We offer nail trimmings for all canines and felines as well as wing/ nail trimmings for exotic birds.

BOARDING

 

We are able to board animals during business hours only. We do not have overnight staff and do not provide overnight boarding.

MEET THE DOC

Dr. Daryl Stang is a 2005 graduate of Virginia- Maryland Regional College of Veterinary medicine located at Virgina Tech. He has practiced veterinary medicine for 10 years on Oahu and has recently moved to Kapa'au after purchasing Kohala Pet Clinic from Dr. Stanley Lavine. His interests include all outdoor water activites and he is eager to learn how to kayak here on the Big Island. Dr. Stang is excited to to be a part of and serve the North Kohala community and its furry friends.
